The small space has been optically expanded by placing unevenly structured grey stone on two walls and the floor. The shower section has been separated by two simple, transparent panes of glass. Thin wooden planks inside the shower booth create the sensation of being in a sauna. The smartcombination of natural materials and accessories helped achieve the simultaneous effect of elegant minimalism and luxury.
The house is showcased by the beautiful, custom-made, thick oak door whose uniqueness is gently highlighted by the cast iron door handle, forged by hand in an Italian factory. The entire hall is decorated in the rustic style dominated by brick and wood. Stylish cast iron accessories and light bulbs with beautiful filaments create a truly unique atmosphere.
White book shelves reaching up to the ceiling and covering nearly two walls, and unique (custom-made) work surfaces emphasize the function of the room. The black-and-white wallpaper replacing a real bookcase, perfectly imitates it. A comfortable sofa placed in the corner of the study offers regeneration for the tired body and the mind.
Light, bright Provence-style furniture and subtle purples on the walls are irresistibly reminiscent of the lavender fields of southern France. A large, comfortable armchair by the fireplace tempts one to sit in it with a glass of wine, put the record-player on and get carried away by the charm of the place.
